Facture Blooms
So… where is FG?
After 14 years of posting, selling, and living online with Facture Goods, I reached a point of burnout and realized I was craving something more tangible and immediate. The constant rhythm of digital engagement—curating content, tracking metrics, and maintaining an online presence—had begun to feel disconnected from the joy of making itself. I decided to end that chapter and shift my focus to the Roadside Stand, a project rooted in face-to-face connection and local exchange. In a world increasingly defined by screens and algorithms, it feels deeply refreshing to unplug, meet people in person, and return to the simple pleasure of sharing work directly with the community.
Many of my previous designs and collections can still be found at Caroline in Geneva, IL, where I continue to collaborate and create pieces that people have come to know and love. Working with Caroline allows me to maintain that connection to the refined, thoughtful aesthetic that defined Facture Goods, while also giving me the freedom to explore new directions for my Roadside Stand. It’s a balance between consistency and experimentation—continuing to craft the timeless forms that resonate with others, while carving out the space to make more spontaneous, personal work that reflects where I am now as an artist.
